CHAIRMAN

Lord Henry Brougham said, "Education makes the people easy to lead, but difficult to drive, easy to govern, but impossible to enslave." Therefore education plays an important role in the life of an individual. In fact, school is the place where the life of a pupil is moulded. This is goal of Punjab Public School.

We must teach what life would hold later on as an advanced stimulation of adult life. It is not only history that we need to know, it is a fabulously valuable experience for students to start thinking about their own and the society's alternative future. What is required now is a deep rethinking about the whole system and process of education.

The catching of values by pupils will obviously depend upon the educational system as well as the society in which they live. Learning is a process in itself. I am aware of the fact that we are living in an era of globalisation and we have to look at the issues from a global perspective. But it is my conviction that ultimately we will have to “think globally, but act locally.”

Children with tender and receptive minds are eager and natural learners. They are quick to observe and absorb all around them. We at Punjab Public School endeavor to optimize their creative and adventurous spirit by providing them all possible avenues of creativity, adventure and sport activities. They being free spirits we encourage their imagination to spread wings and not restrict their thoughts.

Education today is dynamic. Research into the teaching aspect has thrown many innovative methods of teaching. There is a much deeper insight into the ways a child learns. Hence it is imperative that the teachers are thoroughly updated in the latest methods and the diligent use of them. We make sure that our faculty is aware and trained in the modern methodology of teaching and it is our intent to achieve the perfect teaching learning environment so as to facilitate the students and teachers to gain the best possible results.
